Annotation Ribbon Group

The Annotation ribbon group contains the following tools, from left to right:

Select
Use the Select tool to choose Using Box, Using Lasso, Using Polygon, or Using Paint to select the highlighted object.
Dimension
Use the Dimension tool to create a measured dimension.
Note
Use the Note tool to select an annotation plane and enter text onto the plane.
Bill of Materials
Use the Bill of Materials tool to create and insert a BOM.
Balloon
Use the Balloon tool to add BOM balloon notes.
Note Leader
Use the Note Leader tool to connect a note to an object.
Bolt Circle
Use the Bolt Circle tool to view information about diameter, angular, and radial dimensions for a circular pattern.
Table
Use the Table tool to insert a table.
Thread
Use the Thread tool to create a threaded surface on any cylinder, cone, or hole.
Center Line
Use the Center Line tool to add a center mark on any circle, arc, cylinder end, or sphere, and put center lines on any cylindrical face.
Geometric Tolerance
Use the Geometric Tolerance tool to create a geometric tolerance.
Datum Symbol
Use the Datum Symbol tool to insert a datum symbol.
Datum Target
Use the Datum Target tool to insert datum targets onto your design, or drawing sheet.
Hole Table
Use the Hole Table tool to create a hole table.
Welding Symbol
Use the Welding Symbol tool to create a weld symbol.
Barcode
Use the Barcode tool to create a barcode symbol.
Surface Finish
Use the Surface Finish tool to create a surface finish symbol.
Update Annotations Reading Direction
Update Annotations Reading Direction flips annotations that are backwards in the current viewing direction.
Detailing Options
Click to display DesignSpark Mechanical's detailing options.
Track Encoding
Use the Track Encoding tool to see the model's encoding status.

Press Esc, then S to end any detailing action and return to the Select tool.
