Mass Properties Tool Guides

The following tool guides help step you through the process. Use the Tab key to cycle through them. As soon as the tool guide switches, the cursor may change to reflect the active guide.

Select Body	The Select Body tool guide is active by default. This tool guide allows you to select bodies to measure mass properties, total surface area, and principal moments and axes.
Select Planar Face or Section Loop	The Select Planar Face or Section Loop tool guide allows you to select a planar face or cross section curve loop in Section mode to measure area or cross-section properties.
Select Datum Plane	The Select Datum Plane tool guide allows you to select a datum plane to calculate projected area.
Select Coordinate System	The Select Coordinate System tool guide allows you to select a coordinate system or coordinate system axis.
